Argentina is to expand the search for hantavirus-carrying rodents in Mendoza province as part of the investigation into the deadly outbreak aboard a cruise ship in April, the country's health ministry said.
The expanded investigation will take place June 8-12 and will follow investigations in Tierra del Fuego, where the cruise ship departed.
The destination was Cape Verde, but the trip was canceled after three passengers died following a hantavirus outbreak.
