A green area in Hamneda, Småland, has been closed off for testing after high levels of arsenic were discovered in the soil. The poison was found in connection with detailed planning work, reports P4 Kronoberg.

According to the radio station, several samples will be taken to determine where the arsenic comes from and how much is in the area.

The area is located near a playground, but that part of the land should be free of the poison.
