"Let's dance" celebrated 200 programs in the sign of nostalgia. It offered old favorite dances from before, a tribute to participants who have passed away and a rump shock from Pär Lernström.
Each participant was given the task of dancing a variant of an earlier dance from the program. Among other things, Arantxa Alvarez had to pay tribute to Lasse Brandeby's "stoldans" from 2007 and Junior Lerin had to recreate Arja Saijonmaa's "dödslyft" from 2006.
Then, the deceased participants were also honored, and Montana Andersson, daughter of Frank Andersson, who participated in "Let's dance" in 2011 and passed away in 2018, got to dance her father's waltz from the program.
David Lindgren and Tove Villför recreated Anton Hysén's show jazz number from 2012 and got full points from the jury – the first pair to get it this season.
You stir the pot, you set a level that everyone else has to follow next week, said Tony Irving.
In the end, Malin Stenbäck stood against Arantxa Álvarez and it was the latter who drew the shortest straw.
It feels tough, actually. Very sad but a big congratulations and good luck to this gang that moves on, says a disappointed Álvarez.
Tony Irving praised her jive, while Taya Shawki and Eric Saade gave her tougher criticism.
You got a slightly tougher challenge this week, said Shawki.
Next week's theme is "Let's dance with love".
