Apple regains title as world’s largest company after Nvidia shares fall

After Monday's sharp decline in Nvidia's share price, Apple is once again the world's largest company by market capitalisation.

While Nvidia's stock fell almost 5 percent, Apple's rose just over 1 percent, giving it a market capitalisation of $4.95 trillion, while Nvidia's market capitalisation is $4.77 trillion.

Nvidia has been No. 1 since the summer of 2025, but AI-related stocks have now been under pressure for a longer period.
