The Trump administration has appealed the decision to close the controversial migrant detention center "Alligator Alcatraz" in Florida.
In late August, the judge decided that the closure of the facility, hastily erected on an abandoned airfield in a nature reserve in the summer, would continue pending the appeal process.
Now, an appeals court has made a new decision which means that the facility can remain open for the time being.
President Donald Trump, who has promised to deport millions of undocumented migrants, visited the facility in July and expressed his appreciation for the harsh conditions.
