Brown was arrested by police in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in 2025 after a shooting in Miami earlier that year.
He is accused of taking a gun from a security guard and firing two shots at a man he had been fighting with earlier in the evening. One of the shots grazed the victim's neck.
The 38-year-old is due in court on September 30, when the plea deal is expected. According to defense attorney Mark Eiglarsh, Brown will plead guilty to aggravated assault and be sentenced to probation. If convicted of the original attempted murder charge, Brown faced 30 years in prison.
