Corbijn, who is also turning 70 this year, says in a press release that the Swedish photo institution "feels like a second home". The anniversary exhibition "Corbijn, Anton" will be the third at Fotografiska and will feature about 200 of his. It will also be shown later at Fotografiska's subsidiaries in Berlin and Tallinn.
The exhibition is described as a kind of journey through time from the 70s up to today, from all of Anton Corbijn's photographic periods.
"I have worked hard to be, or at least try to be, still relevant. It's not always easy and actually something you can only assess afterwards – but that's what I hope this exhibition will show", says the Dutch photographer in the press release.
"Corbijn, Anton" will be on display from June 13 to 12 October.
