The US government has demanded that the country's military be given unrestricted access to AI company Anthropic's technology. But the company has resisted, setting limits on covert mass surveillance and autonomous weapons systems.
On Friday, Trump called the company "woke," ordered federal agencies to stop using Anthropic’s technology and classified the company as a "risk."
Now the company states that it will challenge the decision in court.
"No amount of threats or punishment from the Department of War will change our position on domestic mass surveillance or fully autonomous weapons," the company writes.
