The British two-time world champion was in Nigeria visiting relatives on December 29 when the car he was traveling in crashed into a stationary truck. Two close friends of Joshua who were also in the car died in the crash.
Spokespersons for Lagos and Ogun State told AFP that Joshua, who was slightly injured, left the hospital on Wednesday afternoon.
According to Nigerian authorities, a tire on the car they were traveling in exploded before the crash.
Just over a week ago, Joshua defeated influencer Jake Paul in a high-profile match in Miami. Joshua is a two-time heavyweight world champion who, before turning professional, won Olympic gold in the super heavyweight category in London in 2012.
