On Wednesday, Barcelona confirmed to AFP that they had agreed with Newcastle on a transfer said to be worth up to 860 million kronor.
The deal is now done.
Gordon has been an important player for the 'Magpies' since joining from Everton in 2023. Last season he scored 17 goals, ten of which were in the Champions League, and was Newcastle's top scorer.
This is Newcastle's second-biggest sale in the club's history, behind Alexander Isak's move to Liverpool last summer.
In Barcelona, the 25-year-old winger will compete with Swede Roony Bardghji, among others, but first he will play in the World Cup with England this summer.
