The official World Cup song “Dai dai,” featuring Shakira, was released in May. The new song is being presented instead as “the official anthem” for the World Cup, which “brings together globally influential artists to deliver the tournament’s ceremonial and emotional signature,” it says.
Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, French DJ David Guetta, South Korean-American singer Ejae (known for the animated musical “K-pop: Demon Hunters”), and American rap star Megan Thee Stallion will perform “DNA” for the first time at the opening ceremony in Mexico City on Thursday.
