Another doctor is being sentenced for his role in actor Matthew Perry's fatal overdose two years ago.

Doctor Mark Chavez has admitted to obtaining ketamine and giving it to his colleague Salvador Plasencia, who was recently sentenced to 2.5 years in prison for illegally selling the ketamine to Perry.

The "Friends" star had been taking ketamine for depression, but turned to Plasencia when his doctor refused to prescribe larger doses.

Chavez is sentenced to eight months of house arrest followed by three years of supervision, as well as 300 hours of community service.

Perry died on October 28, 2023.
