Lundström has worked at the public broadcaster since 2001 and has hosted several of SVT's cultural programs, such as "Kobra".
SVT has announced changes for Kulturnyheterna in connection with a large savings package.
"I've had a great time at SVT. I've had fantastic years. Now everything is going to shrink, and it feels like I might not have the energy to keep going," he tells Expressen.
On Monday, Karin Magnusson, who has hosted "Morning Studio" in recent years, and SVT's Ukraine correspondent Bengt Norborg also announced that they are leaving the broadcaster.
