According to the newspaper, a number of guest artists will participate on the album, including Childish Gambino and Dua Lipa.

The South Korean Blackpink consists of Jennie Kim, Jisoo Kim, Lalisa "Lisa" Manoban, and Roseanne "Rosé" Park and debuted in 2016.

Besides BTS, Blackpink is one of K-pop's most successful bands and in 2019, they made history as the first female K-pop group to perform at the Coachella festival.

Jennie is the last of the four to release her solo full-length album. In March 2023, Jisoo released "Me", in October 2024, Rosé released her debut album "Rosie" — which includes the Billboard hit "APT" that she does together with Bruno Mars — and at the end of February, Lisa's debut "Alter ego" is expected.
