However, it is not yet clear which events she will take part in during Nobel Week.
Shortly after the announcement on October 8, Anne Carson could not say whether she would come to Stockholm. However, she was happy to receive warm congratulations from people she had met at different times in her life.
"Hopefully we will, and we will have a lot of meetings about it now," her husband, Robert Currie, told TT at the time.
And now the Academy has confirmed that she will attend.
The Nobel Prize winner must also give a Nobel Lecture to receive the prize.
Anne Carson was born in Canada and now lives in both the United States and Iceland.
