Ann Lindberg is proposed to become the new Director-General of the Medical Products Agency. She comes most recently from a post as Director-General of the National Veterinary Institute (SVA) and has also been a state epizootologist.
I have great respect for the fact that this assignment is both complex and challenging, but I look forward to throwing myself into getting to grips with it, says Lindberg.
She will take up the position on May 1.
