According to local media, the actor and former special envoy for the UN refugee agency UNHCR visited to meet Palestinians brought to Egypt for treatment and aid workers in the war-torn area.
Together with an American delegation, she greeted, among others, representatives of the Red Crescent and truck drivers transporting humanitarian aid.
Jolie said she was "honored" to meet the volunteers at the border crossing, where thousands of trucks are still waiting to bring supplies into Gaza.
Jolie left her role as UN Special Envoy in 2022 after more than 20 years with the organization to work more broadly on humanitarian issues.
