Things have been boiling in England lately. With threats of the government stepping in and formally stripping Prince Andrew of his royal titles, pressure on King Charles to act has increased.
"This has of course affected King Charles, and Prince William has been the most instigator, I understand. He just wants his creepy uncle out of everything royal," says Roger Lundgren.
The scandal-plagued prince will also be giving up his luxurious mansion, Royal Lodge, located in Windsor. According to the BBC, he will move to a residence located at the British royal family's country estate, Sandringham, in Norfolk.
"There is a house there called Wood Farm where Prince Philip lived the last years of his life. He is not seen there and he is not there, he will be a completely invisible figure," says Roger Lundgren.
The daughters retain the titles
It is unclear whether his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson will move in with him. The couple have continued to share a home despite being divorced since 1996. According to a decision from the British court, Andrew's daughters Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie will be allowed to keep their princess titles.
For now, but when Charles is no longer alive, a new regime will come and Prince William will probably also want to get rid of Harry and Meghan, so this could set a kind of precedent, says Roger Lundgren.
In Norway, there are the same discussions surrounding Märta Louise, who claims that she is always a princess, but apparently that is no longer the case, one can lose their royal title altogether.
Many people sweat
According to Roger Lundgren, the crisis management surrounding Prince Andrew and the Epstein affair comes five years too late, which may be explained by the fact that Queen Elizabeth is said to have had a weak eye for her second-eldest son.
What you have to remember with all these guys who have been in Epstein's world is that it's actually only Andrew who has gone there and had to face the consequences. Now it's not possible to hunt him down anymore, but who else is on the list? There are probably many who are sweating now, says Roger Lundgren.
