Tate, 39, a controversial influencer in the so-called manosphere, is also charged with “sexual conduct with a minor” and witness tampering. His brother Tristan Tate, 38, is charged with complicity.
According to a press release, Andrew Tate has, among other things, pressured a 15-year-old girl to produce pornographic material for several years, through which the brothers are said to have collected over $1.25 million.
The Tate brothers are currently in custody in the United States on charges of rape and sex trafficking. The United Kingdom has requested their extradition to face a British court on a total of 59 charges.
Self-proclaimed misogynist Andrew Tate previously sold "courses" on how men can force women to work as "webcam models."
