Today, Andrée Jeglertz is the national team captain for Denmark, where he, together with his players, is preparing for Friday's European Championship premiere against Sweden.
But after the championship, a new adventure awaits. The 53-year-old has now been presented as the new head coach for Manchester City in the English Super League.
"It's an honor to be a part of this great and fantastic club. Manchester City is one of the biggest clubs in the world", says Jeglertz in a statement.
Jeglertz has a long coaching background with four national championship gold medals and has previously coached clubs such as Umeå IK, Djurgården, and Linköping. In addition to Denmark, he has also been the national team captain for Finland's women's national team.
In Manchester City, it is Therese Sjögran who is the football manager.
