Lundin contracted dengue fever during the first days of filming “Robinson” in Caramoan, Philippines.
Lundin had to temporarily hand over hosting duties to his colleague Martin Järborg, who flew to the Philippines at short notice.
"If I had the choice, I probably would have put more meat on it. But that fever, it's special. I should probably be grateful that I was taken aside," Lundin tells TV4.
Lundin was vaccinated against dengue and is now fully recovered.
Dengue fever is a viral disease spread by mosquitoes that causes high fever, headache and muscle aches. In rare cases, it can be life-threatening.
Season 18 of "Robinson" premieres on March 30. The first episodes are already available on TV4 Play.
Corrected: In a previous version, the wrong premiere date was stated for the program.
