American Battery Firm Lyten Acquires Northvolt's Polish Factory

The American battery company Lyten is buying the Polish operations of the bankrupt Northvolt.

The American lithium battery manufacturer writes in a press release that it intends to immediately resume production in Gdansk. Previously, Lyten has purchased Northvolt's operations in California.

Yesterday, the bankruptcy administrator told TT that there are five interested parties to buy the battery company Northvolt's bankrupt operations, including the large factory in Skellefteå.

There have been two more interested parties, so there are now a total of five interested parties looking at a whole consisting of the battery cell factory in Skellefteå, Labs in Västerås and of course the headquarters in Stockholm, said bankruptcy administrator Mikael Kubu at Ackordcentralen to TT on Monday.
