American Express raised the lower end of its full-year forecast in its quarterly report to 10 percent. The forecast was previously 9-10 percent. The company also confirmed its profit forecast for the whole of 2026.
Revenue in the second quarter rose 10 percent to $19.6 billion. But analysts had expected $19.7 billion, according to Bloomberg.
Net card fees during the quarter came in at 2.9 billion, compared with the expected 3.0 billion.
The costs ended up being slightly higher than the average forecast.
