There were four people in the passenger car and three people in the ambulance, everyone has been taken to hospital but if I understood it correctly, it is minor injuries, says Sara Andersson, station commander at the police, to the newspaper.
According to initial information, it was about a total of four affected people.
The ambulance and the passenger car were traveling in opposite directions and the collision occurred when the passenger car was to turn off the road. Probably, the driver of the passenger car was dazzled by the sun, said Ola Jakobsson, duty officer at the rescue service, earlier to TT.
The road was completely blocked in connection with the accident. The rescue service started with cleaning up the oil spill which was then taken over by the Swedish Transport Administration.
Both the ambulance and the passenger car needed to be towed.
The alarm came at 17.30.
