The agreement thus corresponds to one fifth of the gigawatts that Amazon is estimated to need in Sweden in the future.
The four wind farms from which the electricity will be supplied - Boarp, Dållebo, Fågelås and Fageråsen - are operated and developed by Eolus and OX2, which are part of the Wallenberg Circle's venture capital company EQT's portfolio of companies.
One gigawatt of electricity is equivalent to what is used by 350,000 households, according to Amazon.
