In “Mejor futuro,” Amat Levin follows the brothers’ journey from Botkyrka to the creation of Redline Records and the legendary Redline studio. The book is described as both a personal portrait and a depiction of how Sweden developed during the same period: hip-hop’s path from the margins to the mainstream, the digitalisation of the music industry, and a society in transition.
"We were often told that we should write a book, and over time we began to understand that we had a very special upbringing and history that we should share," says Salla Salazar in a press release.
"Mejor futuro" comes out on November 6.
