Amanda Vikingsson's elite effort was a major theme in "Gift vid första ögonkastet" on SVT. Now the jujutsu star has received her reward – a European Championship bronze, writes Aftonbladet.

Out of love – but successful in her sport. Amanda Vikingsson broke off her marriage with Alexander Forsman in the spring episode of "Gift vid första ögonkastet" on SVT and the TV audience could see that her elite effort took a lot of time.

Now it has yielded results. It became a bronze medal at the jujutsu European Championship in Beveren in Belgium, during a day when Sweden took gold in two weight classes.

Despite the medal, Amanda Vikingsson was dissatisfied:

"So proud of my teammates who step in and pick up gold! My own performance I'd rather suppress, but it's always an honor to represent Sweden", she writes on Instagram.

It was not the first medal for Amanda Vikingsson, who earlier in her career has taken home, among other things, two World Championship bronzes. This year's World Championship will be decided in four weeks.
