The film, which will have its world premiere in Toronto on September 26, is about 20-year-old Ejva, who must take over the family's reindeer herding when her father dies.
"To have the European premiere in competition in San Sebastián is a great honor. I am incredibly grateful to everyone who has contributed to making this film," says Amanda Kernell in a press release.
The festival runs from September 18-26. The film is distributed by Nordisk Film.
