The song "Mother's love conquers all" is about Amanda Jenssen's mother and how love conquers all. In connection with the release of the song, she told in Tomas Andersson Wij's podcast "Hundåren" why she disappeared from music.

When her mother got Alzheimer's, Amanda Jenssen paused her career to take care of her.

I have not done an interview in ten years, so by releasing this song and talking about it, I understood that I now, for the first time, need to tell about mom's Alzheimer's and much of what has happened in recent years. I have dreaded it, but think it's good and important to talk about it.

She processed much of what she went through in her diaries, which now form the basis for the music. The new single she has written from her mother's perspective.

Suddenly, I just heard the song being played in my head, as if it was completely finished – and I just cried. It felt like a gift from her to me, says Amanda Jenssen.
