The alpine star Mikaela Shiffrin is clear for comeback after her long-term injury.
She will compete in the World Cup slalom event in Courchevel, days before the World Championship starts.
"Courchevel 30/01...See you soon", she writes on Instagram.
Previously, the American star had told NBC that she was preparing to travel to Europe and compete.
Shiffrin injured her abdomen when she crashed violently in the giant slalom event in American Killington on November 30.
Shiffrin is the skier who has won the most World Cup events in history and was chasing her 100th victory when she crashed.
The Alpine World Championship in Austrian Saalbach takes place on 4–16 February.
