The competition game on the beach, during the Swedish Olympic Committee (SOK) on Crete, ended poorly for alpine national team skier Estelle Alphand who fell and injured her thumb.

She was immediately taken care of and got her thumb bandaged.

Estelle Alphand tells TT: "It's probably okay," and moves her somewhat swollen thumb uninhibited.

Towe Söderlund, physiotherapist for the alpine women's national team:

"She got a blow, but it didn't get any worse."

It was when the alpine national team had a team-building competition, at the camp that the Swedish Olympic Committee (SOK) has for winter athletes on Crete, that the accident occurred.
