Inquiries into County Governor Anna Kinberg Batra and investigations into poor working conditions at the Stockholm County Administrative Board have required significant resources – equivalent to three years of work, shows an internal investigation.

A total of 4,758 working hours have been registered by 55 people from 15 different units within the authority, reports Aftonbladet.

Time and resources from the authority's core mission have instead been spent on crisis management. Planned projects have had to be cancelled or postponed, and 16 out of 35 units within the authority believe that work results have deteriorated.

An additional approximately 2,800 hours are said to have been spent on unit meetings, union work, and employee information related to the crisis.

Anna Kinberg Batra has been criticized for, among other things, so-called buddy recruitment, high representation costs, and her leadership style.

Right now, negotiations are underway regarding an internal investigation into the working conditions at the authority.
