Allvin, 51, came to Vancouver in early 2022 after a long career with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Club manager Jim Rutherford thanked Allvin for his work and emphasized that Vancouver wants to continue rejuvenating the squad.
"I want to thank Patrik for all his hard work over the past four seasons. Under his leadership, we have brought in a lot of young and promising talent, and he has helped us lay the foundation for our restart," Rutherford said, according to nhl.com.
