Örjans vall is an Allsvenskan football arena next year as well. A point at home against Brommapojkarna was enough to secure further play in the top league – and a point was taken. Now we have collected the points we need so it is an extreme relief, says coach Johan Lindholm to HBO Max.

The goalless match also meant that BP had to wait a few hours for the outcome of the meeting between Gais and Öster for clearer information about what will happen in the final round.

Since that match ended 1–1, BP cannot go out immediately.

If Degerfors loses or draws against Hammarby at Stora Valla on Monday evening, when the penultimate round is completed, BP is all set for the 2026 Allsvenskan.

Can be refined

If Degerfors wins, there will be a real thrill waiting for which clubs will secure the contract, which club will qualify against Örgryte, third in the Super League, or which will be relegated immediately.

In a truly sophisticated scenario, Brommapojkarna, Norrköping, Öster and Degerfors are all involved. Brommapojkarna, who have the best starting position, will face Degerfors at Grimsta IP in the final round on Sunday.

We still have it in our own hands and have to make sure we have a good match against Degerfors, says Kristiansson.

IFK Norrköping takes on IFK Gothenburg at Gamla Ullevi while Öster meets Djurgården at home.

Halmstad accounted for most of the best and, among other things, hit the target frame twice, as the club secured another Allsvenskan season.

Hardly a goal chance

BP gave offensive pointlessness a face.

"We are disappointed with our attacking play, we did not reach the level we wanted at all. Weak. We hardly had a chance to score in the whole match," BP coach Ulf Kristiansson told HBO Max.

The point against Gais meant that Öster moved past Degerfors and into the qualifying spot.

"It's clear that we would have liked to have it in our own hands, but that's not the case now. We just have to win our match against Djurgården and it will be the last one," says Östers Dennis Olsson to HBO Max.
