Two high-speed trains collided on Wednesday morning outside Toledo in central Spain. At least 46 people have died, ABC reports, citing Spain’s Civil Protection service.

The RFEF has decided to postpone all 24 matches in the first round of the Copa del Rey, which were scheduled to be played this evening.

"The great Spanish football family is united in mourning this tragedy and offers its support to the authorities as they help the victims of this devastating accident," the federation wrote.

New dates for the matches will be announced in the coming days.
