All those injured in the devastating New Year's Eve fire in Crans-Montana, Switzerland, have been identified, police say.

A total of 116 people were injured, police in the canton of Valais said in a statement. 83 of the injured were still being treated in hospital on Monday.

On Sunday, the work of identifying the remains of the 40 victims was also completed.

So-called ice torches placed in champagne bottles are said to have caused the fire at a bar in Crans-Montana on New Year's Eve. The incident involved an explosion.
