The football club's squad includes stars Karim Benzema and Theo Hernández, both from France, and Portuguese Rúben Neves.

Saudi Arabia's state investment fund, Pif, has owned the majority of the shares since 2023. Prince al-Walid bin Talal has bought 70 percent of the club for just over 3.4 billion SEK.

Pif has a large stake in several Saudi clubs and was a decisive factor in attracting football stars to the league.
