When the outcast fisherwoman (Olivia Colman) orders a husband from the village basket maker, he weaves her a real dream man (Alexander Skarsgård), which creates quite a stir in the small fishing village.
The film is directed by Alex Huston Fischer and Eleanor Wilson and is based on the short story "The Wicker Husband" by Ursula Wills-Jones.
The cast also includes Swedish actor Gustav Lindh. “Wicker” premiered at the Sundance Festival in January and will premiere in the US in October.
