Former Eurovision winner Alexander Rybak is competing in Norway's Melodi Grand Prix again.

Rybak won the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) final in 2009 with the entry "Fairytale", achieving the highest score in the competition's history.

In 2018, he competed again, won the national selection, but finished 15th in the ESC.

He has not revealed which song he will be competing with this year, but assures he will play the violin.

Rybak is currently working on "Fairytales too", his first pop album in 15 years.
