The director Alexander Mørk-Eidem debuts as a playwright with a play about male friendship. "Men who weave" gets its premiere 29 January next year at Kulturhuset Stadsteatern in Stockholm.

In a press release, Alexander Mørk-Eidem tells that he was inspired by the artist Petter Hellsings exhibition with among other things weavings and carpets at the Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm.

Petter Hellsings art is included in the performance and Hellsing has also made the scenography together with Erlend Birkeland. The main roles are played by Lennart Jähkel, Andreas Kundler and Hampus Hallberg.

Alexander Mørk-Eidem will himself direct his play.
