Isak being in the team or not has been a hot topic throughout the week. Dahl Tomasson has pointed out several times that he does not see the match-trained star as a 90-minute player in the qualifying opener in Ljubljana.
On the other hand, he has talked about Isak as a "game changer". The chance that he will get to make a substitution on Stadion Stozice is quite large, in other words.
"Alex has not trained collectively for a long time, only three trainings with us and played his last match in May, but he can come in and change the game picture", says the national team captain to the association's website.
The big surprise in the eleven is that Alexander Bernhardsson enters as a wingback to the right.
"He came in against Hungary and then started against Algeria and did really well. He has also done well in training", says Jon Dahl Tomasson.
Starting eleven: Robin Olsen – Hjalmar Ekdal, Isak Hien, Gabriel Gudmundsson – Alexander Bernhardsson, Hugo Larsson, Yasin Ayari, Anton Salétros, Daniel Svensson – Viktor Gyökeres, Anthony Elanga.
Slovenia: Jan Oblak – Zan Karnicnik, Vanja Drkusic, Jaka Bijol, Erik Janza – Petar Stojanovic, Adam Gnezda Cerin, Timi Max Elsnik, Sandi Lovric – Andraz Sporar, Benjamin Sesko.
The World Championship qualifying match kicks off at 20.45.
