According to the newspaper's information, Wolfsburg will pay around 55 million kronor for the 27-year-old World Cup-winning Swede, who has played for Kiel in recent seasons. German newspaper Kicker also says that Bernhardsson is close to a transfer.
Wolfsburg were relegated from the Bundesliga this spring after 29 seasons in the top division.
