Andersson was included in the match squad and sat on the bench against both IFK Göteborg and Mjällby.
He did so in Borås as well. But this time he got to make a substitution – a historic one.
15 years and 24 days old, the Allsvenskan debut came. No one has been younger as a participant in an Allsvenskan match.
It was tough, of course. But it was just about coming in and doing your thing, fighting for the team. Nervous, you could say.
Nicklas Bärkroth held the previous record. He was 15 years and 230 days old when he debuted for IFK Göteborg against Brommapojkarna in 2007.
Djurgården's coach Jani Honkavaara about Max and Andersson's substitution:
He's a happy boy in many ways and isn't afraid of anything. There were a few moments in the match where it looked like he wasn't that young. He's not afraid to take responsibility. We'll see how we'll use him going forward, but we need to see more from our substitutes in general.
Alexander Andersson is still an amateur, but can expect to be offered a contract shortly.
