The Tiktok gala took place in Los Angeles on Thursday. Other nominated artists in the same category were Katseye, Laufey, Ravyn Lenae and Sombr.
American Warren has topped the world's charts this year with the song "Ordinary".
This is not the artist's first award this year, as Warren won Best New Artist at the MTV Video Music Awards in September. He also has a chance to win a Grammy in February next year.
