The police and rescue services were alerted on Monday afternoon about an indoor explosion in a building in Eskilstuna.
It is still a bit unclear what exploded, but possibly some kind of firework in a stairwell, says the police's press spokesperson Angelica Israelsson Silfver.
No one was injured and no material damage occurred. The rescue services have left the scene.
The police are filing a report on the crime of handling flammable and explosive goods and endangering others. There is no suspect.
