World number one Jannik Sinner dominated against Novak Djokovic and won easily with 6–3, 6–3, 6–4.
The first two sets took just over an hour.
This will be the 23-year-old Italian's first Wimbledon final.
Novak Djokovic, who slipped during the quarterfinals and cancelled Thursday's training, seemingly struggled with injury and took a medical timeout.
Incredible, wow. This is a tournament I always watched as a young boy. I could never have imagined that I would play the final here, said Sinner.
Prior to this, the reigning Wimbledon champion Carlos Alcaraz had won Friday's first semifinal against the American Taylor Fritz with the set scores 6–4, 5–7, 6–3, 7–6.
It's a great honor to share the court with Carlos again. We try to push ourselves to our limits and he is one of the players I look up to, continued Sinner.
The final between Sinner and Alcaraz will be played on Sunday.
