The channel has gained access to an internal report that raised the alarm about the conditions on the company's railway lines, which are single-track and generally not equipped with control systems that would stop trains that pass a red signal.
"This means that a signal run (missed red signal) can develop into a major accident with many injuries," the report states.
Several former employees who spoke anonymously to TV2 said it was only a matter of time before an accident would occur. Safety manager Claus René Pedersson disagrees and says the company works hard on safety.
