At least 2,100 civilians have been killed in the war between February 28 and March 30, according to OCHA's latest tally, which puts the number of civilians injured at nearly 28,000.
U.S. and Israeli aerial bombardments of various parts of the country have caused large numbers of civilian casualties and extensive damage to civilian buildings. More than one hundred thousand civilian buildings have been damaged in the war, the report says, citing the Iranian Red Crescent.
The civilian death toll has “continued to rise sharply as attacks on airports, hospitals, residential areas, markets, schools, industries and cultural heritage sites have been reported across almost all affected provinces,” OCHA said.
