The suspected object that caused a police operation in the Södervärn district of Malmö on Friday afternoon was sharp, the police assess. It has now been disarmed by the police's national bomb squad.
The cordons are still in place. Our technicians will conduct a forensic investigation of the site where the object was located, says the police's press spokesperson Fredrik Bratt.
He does not want to comment on what type of object it is.
