The emergency services were alerted on Saturday afternoon that a wind turbine had exploded in Ardala outside Skara, as first reported by Skaraborgs Läns Tidning.
According to the caller, smoke was coming from the top of the turbine in connection with the explosion. Shortly afterwards, a blade came loose.
When we arrived at the scene, a blade had come off. "No one was injured," Conny Johansson of the rescue service told TT.
According to Johansson, the cause of the explosion is unknown.
The police spokesperson told SKLT that they are not involved in the case.
